The Ricoh Caplio R8 has a 28-200mm zoom, as well as a Smooth
Imaging Engine III processor and a face recognition mode.

key operations are readily available during shooting. A high
definition 2.7 inch, 460,000-pixel LCD offers a sharper view
of every detail. Dual Vibration Correction reduces blur from
subject movement and camera shake. Ricohs popular and
powerful macro functions enable shooting of objects as close
as 1cm with wide macro and as close as 25cm with telemacro.
You get beautiful reproduction right down to skin tone with
the Face Recognition Mode. All of this wonderful technology
is packed into an elegant casing, giving you a compact and
easy to use camera with fantastic results. Great care has
been given to styling and colouring and also its
portability, comfort in hand, and its solid high quality
feel. This new model combines technical specifications and

The Ricoh Caplio GX100 is a quality digital camera. The
2.5inch LCD monitor has a wide viewing angle of 170 degrees
making viewing easier. The camera body is made from high
quality Aluminium alloy with ergonomic controls for ease of
use. The Ricoh Caplio GX100 has 10.1 Megapixel Effective
Resolution making your images fine with excellent detail
which you can enlarge way past A4 with no loss in quality.
The GX100 is exceedingly well built and with it’s under
stated all black appearance comes packed with features. The
camera also has the option of running on AAA batteries, so
should you find you’re out of power while shooting, then all
is not lost! The My Setting Mode allows you to program your
most frequently used settings into the camera and access
them whenever you like at a moment’s notice. The Ricoh
Caplio GX100 has an optical based anti shake system, turn on
the Camera Shake Correction and the camera automatically
compensates for camera shake, so no more blurred photo’s. |

The new Caplio R7 is the heir to the award winning Caplio
R6, well respected for its slim body, wide-angle zoom lens,
vibration correction, and face recognition mode. While
retaining the top features of former models, the Caplio R7
further enhances the line's established reputation for high
image quality with the introduction of some great new
features. The R7 comes with Smooth Imaging Engine III, a new
image processing engine capable of even more sophisticated
image processing and an effective 8.15 megapixel CCD for
exceptional results. Furthermore, the Caplio R7 achieves a
variety of other evolutionary advances in fun and easy
photography with enhanced usability for its unique ADJ.
(Adjust) button function, which makes it easy to set
exposure compensation and white balance. The Ricoh Caplio R7
also features a 7.1x wide angle zoom lens on a body
measuring only 20.6mm at the thinnest point.
The style of the new on screen display gives a solid feel of
the Caplio R7 operation. The implementation of a highly
readable font and clearer menu tabs makes the Caplio R7 even
easier to use. Zoom speed can be switched between the two
levels of high speed and low speed to enable the
photographer to move quickly and accurately to the desired
zoom position. The Caplio R7 contains Ricoh\'s original
CCD-shift vibration correction function which compensates
for camera shake when it is detected.
Face recognition mode automatically identifies faces in a
scene and automatically adjusts the focus, exposure, and
white balance for best results. The Caplio R7 digital camera
has an easy-to-see 2.7-inch LCD with 230,000 pixels. |
